Daryl Hitt

My passion and love of music and performing began at a very early age.  I grew up in a boisterous Italian family who loved music and entertaining each other, and we always relish the celebrations we have together.  I began studying music and dance when I was very young, and learned to sing as well.  My knowledge and love of music was enhanced through my dance studies, which of course, helped me with rhythm and understanding what types of music makes people dance…naturally this has helped me immensely as a DJ.  As a musician, I developed an eclectic taste for all genres of music to sing and perform for all types of audiences. I learned that, particularly at Weddings, people love all types of music, as long as it's happy, loving, memorable and fun.  I take great pride in perfecting the playlists for my client’s individual musical tastes as well as programming the music that their guests will enjoy and dance to.  

 In 1997 I followed my musical passions and became a DJ and MC for a local Company and began learning the art of DJing and MCing for private parties, schools, and weddings.  Two years later, I started Hittman Mobile Music and have performed hundreds and hundreds of events through the years.  I love helping my clients, and working with event staff to plan and execute the flow and feel of the event.  As an MC it's my job to lead the party and make sure the event is flowing seamlessly and in a professional, fun and upbeat way.  I work closely with my clients and frequently meet with them to make sure their event is one of a kind.

In addition to my career as a DJ/MC, I am also a full-time Youth Minister for St. Julie Billiart Church in Newbury Park, CA, which has also greatly enhanced my people skills to make me a perfect MC and DJ for any special event.
